Music Lessons at ECCS (by Keyed Up Music)

 

Learn an instrument at Emmanuel Christian Community School!

Keyed Up Music will be providing tuition in the following instruments from Term 4 2019:

• Keyboard (or piano) group lessons
• Guitar group lessons
• Other instruments may be added at the schools’ discretion in the future and due to interest.

 

These will be held after school at both the Casserley and Salcott Road Campuses.

 

Some info about the lessons…

GUITAR : From age 7 years

• Small groups of 3
• Bring your own or hire a guitar
• Books are provided and students will learn to read and play music.
• Cost is $18.10 per half hour lesson conducted weekly

PIANO/KEYBOARD: From age 5 years

• Small groups of 4
• Keyboards are provided at the lesson. You can hire one for home use if you don’t already have a piano/ keyboard.
• Books are provided as per guitar
• Cost is $17.50 per half hour lesson

 

TO ENROL/ REGISTER YOUR INTEREST:

1. Go to www.keyedupmusic.com.au/enrolment-form and fill out the online enrolment form. Put Emmanuel as the venue and your child’s school grade in 2019. OR you can ring the office on 1300 366 243 to enrol over the phone.
2. If your child has been learning already, please let us know their progress so children can be placed into appropriate groups.
3. Ring Nick or Therese Dabbs on 1300 366 243 with any questions or email enquiry@keyedupmusic.com.au
4. Once a timetable has been finalised you will be emailed, along with an invoice with all payment details outlined. Keyed Up Music will also organise music books.

 

HIRE INSTRUMENTS

Price per term

• Keyboards Casio CTK 3200 or similar $60 PLUS A $50 security deposit
• Guitars Valencia Classical or similar $40 plus a $25 security deposit

RECITAL/ REPORTS

• Keyed Up Music will hold a recital at the end of each year to showcase your child’s talents! More info closer to the date. First recital will be 2020 due to only starting lessons in term 4, but last lesson you can sit in on to see your child’s progress.
• Keyed Up Music will also issue a report on progress twice a year. Teachers are available by phone to discuss at any time how your child is going with their learning.
