Free Information Sessions – “Set to Help Parents Keep Their School Leavers Safe”
Parents of school Leavers will be provided assistance to navigate this year’s school Leavers celebrations with a free information session about efforts in the South West to keep revellers safe.
Hosted by the Western Australia Police Force and the Department of Education, the sessions will help parents to talk with their children about staying safe around alcohol and other drugs and while travelling as a driver or passenger.
Every year thousands of students join official celebrations in the South West. This year’s Leavers event will run from 22-25 November 2021 and due to travel restrictions associated with the global COVID-19 pandemic this year’s attendance is anticipated to have the highest attendance to date.
This year parents will have the option to choose from one of three information sessions that will be run across the metropolitan area and the South West. Dates and times are as follows:
- North Metropolitan – Sunday 25 July 10.00 am-12.00 noon – Sunset Suite, Aqua, Sorrento
