Primary School: Swimming Lessons (except Year 5)

SWIMMING LESSONS will take place for Years Pre-Primary to 6. Year 5 will have swimming lessons in weeks 5 and 6. Lessons will be held at LEISURE PARK BALGA where qualified swimming teachers help the children move forward in swim skill levels.

YEARS PP & 3 attend school in their full sport uniform with bathers underneath. There is not enough time to change at school.

YEARS 1, 2, 4 & 6 may wear bathers underneath but there will be time to change at school.

• Towel and undies are kept in a separate plastic bag. This avoids the embarrassment of forgotten underwear!

• For younger female students, may we suggest a two-piece swimsuit (a rash top and swim shorts). This allows students to use the toilet without needing to undress.

The school staff do everything they can to help students have an enjoyable and rewarding experience. If you have any concerns, questions or special needs, please talk with the class teacher.
